Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, albeit spacious with nice artwork above the bed, needed redecoration and had an old smell. However, the staff were exceptional from check-in to check-out. The service was excellent overall, although lacking knowledge at times. The location was ideal, being close to St Mark's Square and offering a beautiful view of the Grand Canal, despite some tightness in the surroundings. Dining was good with room for improvement, especially with the coffee quality.
The hotel offers luxurious and well-cared-for rooms with sumptuous linen for a good night's sleep, despite the lack of a view and facing a noisy alley for early deliveries. The service is incredibly friendly, though influenced by outside interests. Its location is perfect for exploring the city, especially for premium shopping, with some drawbacks in the views. The dining experience, while highly recommended, may have some consistency issues. Overall, a clean, comfortable stay with friendly staff in a great location, but with a few minor drawbacks to consider.
My stay at the hotel was mixed. While the rooms were lovely, with an amazing view of the grand canal, the absence of an inside courtyard view was a downside considering the high price. The service, although exceptional and accommodating overall, lacked information about safety concerns. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the tourist area, but restricted to certain areas of the hotel. The dining experience was delightful, especially on the terrace along the Grand Canal.
Staying on the 7th floor of the old Palazzo with breathtaking views of the Grand Canal and Santa Maria Salute was a remarkable experience. The rooms, although classic in style, were well-appointed with 2 verandas. However, the small dark bathroom was a downside. The service, led by the exceptional Marco at the concierge desk, was incredibly helpful, always ready to assist guests to ensure they enjoy their time in Venice.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room was comfortable with a good view and a cozy bed, but the limited window view was a downside. The location was outstanding, right between St Mark's Square and l'Academia, and the rooftop bar was a highlight. The service was overall friendly, with standout moments like Natasha at breakfast, yet some staff members did not meet the high standards expected from a 5-star hotel. The dining experience was superb, catering to all dietary requirements, but the breakfast quality fell short compared to other locations I've visited.
My stay at the hotel was truly delightful. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, making me feel right at home. The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The location was perfect, offering stunning views and convenient access to key attractions. While the dining experience was not flawless, the overall value for money was satisfactory.
The hotel offers spacious and tastefully furnished rooms with a beautiful bathroom, although the noise from passing motor boats can be disruptive at times. The staff is exceptionally helpful, proactive, and friendly. The highlight is the huge terrace overlooking the city, providing a lovely atmosphere.
The hotel offers stunning rooms with a large bathroom, grand bed, and balcony overlooking the Grand Canal. While the rooms could benefit from modern updates like working TVs and tea/coffee facilities, the overall experience is breathtaking.
